Today is an English Day!

In the name of Allah, the Most Graceful and the Most Almighty.

Assalamualaikum.

All praise is for Allah, the Exalted. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon on Prophet Muhammad, his family and his Companions. May Allah guide us to the Straight Path, save us from the Hellfire and admit us by His mercy into Paradise.

Alhamdulillah. I am so grateful to Allah S.W.T for giving me a chance to breath in His world and let me continue my life in pursuing His light and Jannah.

Today is an English Language Day in my school. I was nervous at first because this is my first time writing a script for my student to conduct the assembly in English. I was late today! The assembly starts at 7.20 a.m every Thursday and yet, I arrived at 7.15 a.m. So, I have a little time to prepare my student who is supposed to be a MC before the assembly start.

But, I still feel proud with Al-Alim’s perfomance today. I will improve the script and the flow for the English assembly after this. Oh yes, time management. I failed to manage the time during assembly. I am feeling guilty to the teachers who teach a first period of a lesson. I am so sorry. I will not repeat the mistake again. Insha Allah.

Hmm. My English proficiency is getting rusty. Especially in writing. I rarely write in English Language lately. I wonder why. Maybe I feel too comfortable expressing myself in my native language (Bahasa Melayu). Another reason is I am not confident with my command in this language even though I am an English teacher. I should change my option as I am not eligible to be an English teacher. Sigh.
