Saat Nabi Muhammad S.A.W Hampir Wafat (From iluvislam.com)

Friends in My Life (Part 7)

This is the last part of ‘Friends in My Life’. In a nutshell, friends are very important in our life. I realised that we cannot live alone. It is nice to have a friend in our life where we have someone to talk to, share secrets and so on.  My advice to you is please choose your friends wisely. All that glitters is not gold . waters may dry.. flowers may die.. but true friends will never say goodbye...    THE END.

Friends in My Life (Part 6)

Nowadays, peoples are so addicted to social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Myspace. Through Facebook or other social networks, we can meet new friends and even our old friends.  It allows people to communicate with one another and creates new relationships and friendships. I am not going to talk about Facebook or the impact of from it, actually. It is just my introduction. But yet, it i s still related to my story in this entry. Last year, I met a charming man through my colleague; Kak Awie. Facebook is one way for us to communicate with each other. He is a gentleman indeed and the best part is he is an English teacher. His name is Yasser – a sweet and good looking man. In addition, he is an Algerian. Now I have a foreigner as my friend. Being his friend has taught me a lot especially about life. He teaches me new things, new knowledge and new skills.  We always talk about education and teaching matters. By day to day, we are getting closer to each other even thoug...

Friends in My Life (Part 5)

It has been already one year I am working in SMA Nilai. First day in SMAN was a nightmare for me. I was too scared of not knowing anyone in that school. Plus, I did not have any experience in teaching secondary school students. I could still remember Kak Azlina, Kak Suryani and Kak KD asked me to join them for lunch. Since I was uncomfortable and anxious, I turned it down. What I can say is, I am so lucky that I have amazing colleagues in SMA Nilai. All praises to Allah. They always cheer me up when I am sad. We share our experience in teaching. Mr Rashid is my mentor and my idol. He is so good in teaching English. I always try to find a chance to listen to his teaching. He is patient in entertaining my questions. I always seek for his help. It helps me a lot in improving my teaching skills and techniques. Same goes to the other teachers. They always comfort and advise me after facing a hard time in school . Oh Allah, please forgive me because I am such a whiner. Love you all, SMANIAN...

Friends in My Life (Part 2)

Let me tell you a bit about myself. To be honest, I am an introvert person. I used to live in my own world. The song ‘World of Our Own’ by Westlife suits me best. I am only concerned with my own thoughts and feelings. I did not like sharing my secrets and problems with a person called ‘friend’. It sounds that I do not have friends at all. I have bitter memories and it was almost ruined my life. My self-confidence was affected by that experience - including my self-esteem. So, that is why I don't have many friends in my life. That was myself before. But, life is precious. Every minute counts in our life. Yes, t ime is gold . I get up and start a new life. As the saying goes,  'turn over a new leaf' .                                                                             TO...

Friends in My Life (Part 4)

I studied in UNISEL for three years. My life when I was in university is quite boring. I was inactive and refused to join any programs held by my university.I regret for that. I am grateful that I have such a happening and supportive course mates like May, Harold, Yvvone and Mel. Although I rarely hang out with them but I love each of everyone in my class.  I am close with Alex, Ira, Halim, Khadijah, Fadzly, Kavvy, Zila and Along. They have helped me a lot and taught me the meaning of life. Argument, selfishness and happiness. These are the rhythm of my life. The journey of getting the scroll was very tough and depressing. A lot of assignments, presentations and micro teaching  need to be done.  No gain without pain .  At the end, we managed to graduate together. I will cherish that moment in my life. Studying with all of you is the sweetest memory in my life. TESL GROUP E              ...

Friends in My Life (Part 3)

My closest friends today is still the same friends I would hang out with since my studies’ year. Four years ago, I met a wonderful girl when I was studying in Negeri Sembilan Matriculation College (KMNS). Her name is  Noradila . We studied in the same class; F8P5. She lightens my life with her cuteness and adorable personality. I am so lucky to have her as my friend. We share secrets and problems. I’m the one who has many problems though. She is patient and a good listener of mine. She helps me through the toughest times, and is there for my best times. She is the one who will comfort me every time I am sad. I could not recall when we got closer to each other. I’m so sad right now because she is going to Labuan soon. Dila, please don’t forget me. I will miss your love in every way. She truly is the best friend I ever had in my life. Then, I further my studies in UNISEL. In the first year, I did not have a friend that I can call ‘best friend’....

Friends in My Life (Part 1)

There are many definitions of friend. What is a friend? Is it someone who will compliment and cheer you up when you’re sad? Or someone who will make you smile and remember your birthday? It does not matter as long as you cherish your moments with your friends. It’s only the definitions and it is up to you how you define the word. A friend who helps out when we are in trouble is a true friend—unlike others who disappear when trouble arises.  As the saying goes ‘ A friend in need is a friend indeed ’.  Friends come and go in our life. It is hard to find a true friend but false friends are everywhere. So, we need to be wise in choosing our friends.  Friends are one of most important things in our lives. Unfortunately we have a few real friends. I have a lot of friends- girls and boys. It   doesn't matter   what they are. They have to be my real friends. He or she has to be good and reliable. It   does not matter   ho...

A Short Review of My Life as a Teacher for 2010

People say ‘Being a teacher is an easy job, you don’t have go back late  or it’s not an office-hour job.’   Some of them even say , ‘Being a teacher is my last option. If I still don’t get hired , then I will apply for KPLI, DPLI or GSST ’ or , ‘The salary of this job is lower than to other professional jobs. ’ They do not understand our job as a teacher. They simply look down at us.   They do not know anything about a teacher’s life. Life as a teacher is not always easy and smooth. Why? We have many responsibilities on our shoulders. Only teachers know the challenges in education world. Now I know the hardships my teachers had to deal with before. Teachers play many roles in school. Teacher is EVERYTHING . Let’s go back to the topic.   This is my review of my life as TEACHER in SMA Nilai. Well, to be honest , I am not a good English teacher. Why? There are many reasons for it. Last week, I asked my students on my teaching style. Their comments rea...
