Assalamualaikum.
I bought a new book entitled “706 Words of Wisdom to be the Happiest People” by Dr Aid Abdullah Al-Qarni. I think most of you know who Dr Aid Abdullah Al-Qarni is. He is the author of best seller book; La Tahzan or Don’t be Sad. I was mesmerized with the words of wisdom in this book. It somehow gives me strength to start a new life and get over with my sorrow and depression. I am still reading it but I will read three to five quotes per day as I want to make sure it absorbs in my heart and my life. It allows me to reflect myself.
These are two of my favourite quotes:
“Faith can delete burdens, erase sadness, and it is the delight of those who worship only Allah and obey only Him”
“What done is gone and is over. So don’t think about it anymore. It is over.”
People always look me happy and cheerful. But yet, they do not know what I am facing right now. Only Allah, the Almighty know what is inside my heart and what I am dealing with now.
Have a faith on Allah. Allah will always by our side as long as we remember Him and follow His orders. Surely Allah will help and guide you to the right path.

All praise is for Allah, the Exalted. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon on Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions. May Allah guide us to the Straight Path, save us from the Hellfire and admit us by His mercy into Paradise.
O Allah, soothe my burning heart with the coolness of faith and give peaceful slumber to restless and serenity to my disturbed soul.
O my Lord, guide my confused and tangled heart to your light and guidance and forbid my soul from astray. Remove evil whispers from my heart and replace them with light, destroy falsehood with truth and crush the evil plots of Devil with your army of Angels.
O Allah, Possesser of Majesty, Magnificence and Might, remove my misery, anxiety and sorrow. Let comfort take the place of sorrow, make happiness come after sadness and let safety take the place of fear.
O Allah, replace my dark, dirty and empty heart with a new and pure heart. Lead me to Jannah and save me from Hellfire.
I seek refuge in You from fearing anything except You, from depending upon anyone except You, from putting our full trust in any one except You and from invoking anyone other than You. You are the Supreme Patron and an excellent Protector.
