Friends in My Life (Part 6)

Nowadays, peoples are so addicted to social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Myspace. Through Facebook or other social networks, we can meet new friends and even our old friends.  It allows people to communicate with one another and creates new relationships and friendships.

I am not going to talk about Facebook or the impact of from it, actually. It is just my introduction. But yet, it is still related to my story in this entry.

Last year, I met a charming man through my colleague; Kak Awie. Facebook is one way for us to communicate with each other. He is a gentleman indeed and the best part is he is an English teacher. His name is Yasser – a sweet and good looking man. In addition, he is an Algerian. Now I have a foreigner as my friend. Being his friend has taught me a lot especially about life. He teaches me new things, new knowledge and new skills.  We always talk about education and teaching matters. By day to day, we are getting closer to each other even though we never meet face to face. Friendship is built based on honesty, loyalty and trustworthiness. He is a brother of mine as we are freely sharing our problems. He is willingly listening to my problems without feeling bored. He gives me a ton of advices, teaches me Arabic vocabulary and proverbs. Alhamdullilah. Allah gives me a good friend likes him. Friendship between us is so special. Thanks akhi for your kindness and support. You will be always in my heart. You are truly amazing. I will always pray for you, akhi.

Now, I would like to talk about my new friends. We know each other this year where they are currently doing their practical in my workplace. They are very shy person indeed. I like to be their friends even sometimes we argue about certain issues. I have to admit that they have inspired me by their abilities in mastering Al-Quran’s language. I am sure you know which language I am talking about. To be frank, I am  envy with them. There are many reasons for it actually.

I do not want to mention their names or else they will feel embarrassed. You know who you are, friends. Thanks for being such a good friend of mine and thanks for sharing your information, advices and so on. Since we only have limited time together, let’s make our friendship memorable like what you always say to me.
